At the beginning of the year I launched three new branding photography packages – each designed to target specific needs. In this final post of the series I’m going to explain more about my Essentials package.

So let’s break down everything that comes with the Essentials package.
Is this the right option for me?
If you haven’t already, I recommend you read my previous post on the Start-Up package. Consider the Essentials a beefed up version of that.
You get more time, more images and even more diversity to your content.
If you’re thinking about your image content needs for the medium to longer-term, I’d point you in the direction of the Essentials.
What are the key things to be aware of?
Sessions last around 3-4 hours and so I typically recommend clients block out half a day to allow for set-up, pack-down and any over-run. This isn’t a session to squeeze in between meetings!
We have plenty of time for new headshots, lifestyle portraits and also detail images – editorial type photographs (often of products and other objects) that are in keeping with your brand.
It can be possible to cover up to three different locations (distance permitting) and multiple outfit changes too. It is your best choice for bringing maximum diversity into your images.
And as a final bonus – and exclusive to the Essentials package – you and your business will also have the opportunity to be featured in my bi-monthly subscriber update, In Focus, giving you even more exposure and promotion.
What images do I receive?
During a typical Essentials shoot I may take as many as 500 photos (often more!). To prevent you from image fatigue I use my years of experience and technical judgment to provide you with a diverse range of the very best from the day.
I will edit up to 60 images and upload them into a password-protected online gallery for you to download in both web-ready format and high-resolution.
Please note that the session fee does not include image retouching. If you would like to have any of your edited selections retouched then just let me know and I’d be happy to do so.
Anything extra I should consider?
It’s not essential but some clients like to seek the expertise of a makeup artist or hair stylist for the session. If this is of interest then just let me know – I have a network of contacts I can recommend.
