BRANDING SHOOTS EXPLORED: START-UP

At the beginning of the year I launched three new branding photography packages – each designed to target specific needs. In this series of blog posts I’m explaining a bit more about the benefits of each of them.

First off, if you’re short on time and just want an overview then check out the main features here.

Second, all three sessions include:

  • A pre-shoot consultation lasting 30-60 minutes

  • A personalised shot list

  • Editing of your images

  • My complementary guide with tips and advice to get the most out of your session

So let’s check out the Start-Up package.

Is this the right option for me?

If you’re planning your image content for the next couple of months and need more diversity than just a headshot, this is the session for you.

I recommend this package to clients who are launching a new website and / or looking for content for future social media posts.

In short, it is the perfect choice to get the ball rolling with your online marketing and for loading your website with unique image content.

What are the key things to be aware of?

The Start-Up session lasts between 1-2 hours which is enough time to capture headshots but also environmental portraits that reveal more about you and the story behind your brand.

With the time available we can also consider using two different locations (so long as they are not too far apart) to add even more diversity to the shoot.

It also means that you will be able to factor in full outfit changes should you wish – usually two or three different outfits.

What images do I receive?

During a typical Start-Up shoot I may take as many as 250 photos (often more!). To prevent you from image fatigue I use my years of experience and technical judgment to provide you with a diverse range of the very best from the day.

I will edit up to 25 images and upload them into a password-protected online gallery for you to download in both web-ready format and high-resolution.

Please note that the session fee does not include image retouching. If you would like to have any of your edited selections retouched then just let me know and I’d be happy to do so.

Anything extra I should consider?

It’s not essential but some clients like to seek the expertise of a makeup artist or hair stylist for the session. If this is of interest then just let me know – I have a network of contacts I can recommend.
